School Council

The School Council are a group of pupils who are elected through a democratic process of presentations and voting. They meet regularly to discuss ways in which they can improve our school and community, often by organising the charity efforts that regularly take place. They consult their class members and make decisions based on the feedback. Previously, they have promoted smart school uniform to the rest of the school and helped create our school behaviour expectations, and have recently started to consider how children can be kept even safer at Westwood by considering safeguarding at all of their meetings.
